How Does a Wood Pellet Mill Work?

1. Raw materials are fed into the pelletizing chamber through the inlet.
2. Driven by natural gravity and centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the ring die, the materials are pressed against the inner wall of the die.
3. With the help of feed knives, the materials are evenly and continuously fed into the gap between the die and rollers.
4. Thanks to the optimized internal design of the pelletizing chamber, a stable extrusion pressure (extrusion zone) is formed.
5. Under the strong extrusion of the rollers and die, the materials are compacted and forced through the die holes, where they take shape.
6. The materials are continuously conveyed and extruded repeatedly for consistent pellet formation. The formed pellets are pushed out of the die holes and then cut to the desired length by the cutter.
7. Finally, the finished wood pellets are discharged and drop out through the outlet.
