Biomass Pellet Fuel Production Line Supplier | Vertical Ring-Die Wood Chip & Sawdust Pellet Mill Manufacturer

Time:2026-01-24
The biomass pellet mill is a device that takes biomass wastes from agricultural and forestry processing—such as wood chips, straw, rice husks, and bark—as raw materials. Through pre-treatment and processing, it solidifies and shapes these materials into high-density pellet fuel. This fuel is an ideal alternative to coal and oil, as it not only saves energy but also reduces emissions, yielding remarkable economic and social benefits. It is a type of clean energy. Biomass pellet mills are classified into flat-die biomass pellet mills, ring-die biomass pellet mills, and upgraded models.
Biomass fuel is produced using solid agricultural and forestry wastes as raw materials, including corn stalks, wheat straw, rice straw, peanut shells, corn cobs, cotton stalks, soybean stalks, grain husks, weeds, branches, leaves, wood chips, and bark. These raw materials undergo crushing, pressurization, densification, and molding processes to become small stick-shaped solid pellet fuel. Pellet fuel is manufactured by extruding raw materials like wood chips and straw with pressure rollers and ring dies under normal temperature conditions. The density of raw materials is generally around 110–130 kg/m³, while the density of molded pellets exceeds 1100 kg/m³, facilitating convenient transportation and storage.

Advantages

With China’s comprehensive management of energy and the environment, biomass pellet stoves have been installed and put into use in villas and residential buildings in medium and large cities. In the near future, this convenient and energy-efficient fuel will become a sought-after commodity available in supermarkets and chain stores. The rational utilization of biomass fuel involves processing the aforementioned solid wastes into small stick-shaped solid pellet fuel via crushing, pressurization, densification, and molding. Produced by extruding wood chips, straw, and other raw materials with pressure rollers and ring dies at room temperature, the pellets have a density of over 1100 kg/m³ (compared to the raw material density of around 110–130 kg/m³), enabling easy transportation and storage.

Product Features

  1. The linear speeds of the two ends of the pressure roller are consistent with those of the inner and outer rings of the grinding disc, eliminating dislocation friction between the roller and the die, reducing resistance, lowering kinetic energy consumption, and extending the service life of the die.
  2. The pressure rollers are evenly arranged, ensuring stable operation.
  3. Adopting a central pressure-adjusting structure, it is adaptable to different raw materials and guarantees optimal pelleting results. Compressing and molding materials like wood chips and corn stalks requires high pressure. Among similar pelleting equipment, the roller assembly serves as the core component and is made of alloy steel to enhance its service life.
  4. With a fixed template, the main shaft drives the pressure rollers to compress materials, making it suitable for processing straw into pellets.
  5. The machine is equipped with various dies with aperture sizes ranging from Ø2 to Ø20, catering to the pelleting requirements of different raw materials.
